- Please bring all of your medications, including medications you have been advised to stop taking prior to surgery
- If you are an insulin dependent diabetic, please bring your pens/needles with you
- A list of all known allergies
- If you have had a recent angiogram, please bring your disc (if performed at Mater Hospital Pimlico, we will be able to access online. If your have already given us your disc, we will place it in your hospital chart prior to surgery)
- Your Medicare card and Private Health details
- Your EFTPOS, credit card or other means of payment for any out of pocket expenses (all charges are payable on or prior to admission)
- A small bag containing:
- personal toiletries (toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, condtioner, razor, sanitary products, etc.)
- non-slip socks and/or slippers
- dressing gown
- pyjamas
- underwear
- loose fitting pants
- loose button up shirts
- contact lenses/glasses
- hearing devices
- a book or reading material
*Please only bring essential items. Where possible, please leave all valuables including large sums of cash and jewellery at home or with your family members.
